The 2021 Fortinet Championship marks the beginning of the 2021-22 PGA Tour season. You can find full Round 1 tee times for the tournament at the bottom of this post.

Notable pairings for Fortinet Championship Round 1

You could have hardly blamed Phil Mickelson had he decided to take this week off. The 51-year-old veteran is coming off a lengthy and memorable season on Tour that saw him win his sixth major title at the PGA Championship, making him the oldest major champion in the process. Next week, he heads to Wisconsin to be an assistant captain on Steve Stricker’s U.S. Ryder Cup team.

But Phil isn’t taking the week off. Instead, he’s teeing it up at the season-opening Fortinet Championship at Silverado Resort & Spa in Napa, California. Mickelson will begin the opening round on Thursday at 10:55 a.m. ET alongside Cameron Champ and Kevin Tway.

Mickelson will have some high-powered company in the field at Silverado Resort. World No. 1 Jon Rahm will make a run at the winner’s circle at the Fortinet, too, days before playing on the European Ryder Cup team. Rahm tees off Thursday at 10:44 a.m. ET with Max Homa and Si Woo Kim.

Other notable pairings for the opening round include Hideki Matsuyama, Hudson Swafford and Matt Kuchar (3:54 p.m. ET); Will Zalatoris, Marc Leishman and Brandt Snedeker (4:05 p.m. ET); and Webb Simpson, Michael Thompson and Emiliano Grillo (10:33 a.m. ET);
