Just under a million bucks ($947,309). And just over it ($1,089,904).
While certainly not chump change, these figures maybe best sum up Rickie Fowler’s recent struggles. The former is the money total he made during the 2020 PGA Tour season; the latter the amount he collected last season.
Both of which are less than the winner’s check at this week’s CJ Cup ($1.755 million).
Should he need any more incentive to protect his two-stroke third-round lead and win for the first time since early February of 2019, this most definitely is it. In all, the 78 golfers playing at the Summit Club in Vegas are playing for a purse of $9.75 million.
Sunday’s final round will be broadcast on Golf Channel starting at 5 p.m. ET. Below are the complete payouts.
