10 of the best players at the Valero Texas Open over the last 5 seasons


It’s easy to look forward a week when the golf world with descend upon Augusta National Golf Club for the year’s first major championship, but before we get to the Masters, it’s time for the Valero Texas Open at TPC San Antonio in Texas.

A loaded field has made its way to the Lone Star State, including two-time winner and defending champion Corey Conners, world No. 2 Rory McIlroy, Max Homa, Jordan Spieth, Rickie Fowler, Collin Morikawa, Ludvig Aberg, Tommy Fleetwood and Matt Fitzpatrick.

Spieth, who won the Valero in 2021, is hoping to get his season back on track. He’s missed the cut in his last two starts at the Players Championship and Valspar Championship.
