The PGA Tour’s Florida Swing gets underway Thursday morning at PGA National’s Champion Course for the 2024 Cognizant Classic in the Palm Beaches – formally known as the Honda Classic – in Palm Beach Gardens.
Defending champion Chris Kirk will be joined in the field by world No. 2 Rory McIlroy, Rickie Fowler, Shane Lowry, Cameron Young and Mexico Open winner Jake Knapp.
McIlroy, the 2012 winner, hasn’t played in this event since 2018.
The Champion Course is a par-71 layout measuring 7,147 yards.
The total purse is $9 million, with $1.62 million going to the winner, as will 500 FedEx Cup points.
